Where to even begin? Real estate has been my world for over two decades now, but truthfully, it's been a part of my life since day one. Growing up, I was practically raised on construction sites, thanks to my dad being a general contractor. Those summers watching new homes take shape from the ground up left an indelible mark on me. And let's not forget about my grandfather's property in Sherrills Ford, which eventually became Lake Norman after they flooded it. Family ties run deep in my story – my uncle even got his real estate license so he could sell the homes my dad and grandfather built.
I still call Sherrills Ford my home and have been lucky enough to help other families call it home, too. I started my sales career at Century 21 Hecht in Denver, NC. After serving several years as an award-winning sales agent, I transitioned into a Broker-In-Charge of that office in 2006. It had always been my passion to teach, and this allowed me the opportunity to teach what I loved the most: real estate, of course!
In 2010, I transitioned to Lake Norman Realty, where I've worn multiple hats – from Broker-In-Charge to General Manager. Now, I proudly lead our five residential sales offices as Vice President. Lake Norman Realty isn't just a company to me; it's a second home. Founded in 1978, it's been in the Jennings family since, just like real estate has been in mine.
See, it all comes full circle – my family roots laid the foundation for the career I've come to adore. And every day, I get to share that love with others, helping them find their piece of paradise in Sherrills Ford and beyond and helping others realize a new career path in real estate.
